Am I allowed to take a class for fun that is not pre-approved?

Yes. You can attend any non-pre-approved class that cannot be counted toward your program requirement for fun or to further your knowledge of a non-educational subject. The education stipend provided by your host family cannot be used to pay for these classes. You also must attend these classes on your own time.
