# If I complete more than 6 credits or 60 hours in my first year, can those extra credits or hours count toward my extension program education requirement?

No. Any hours completed during your first year cannot be applied to your extension. You need to earn the required credits or hours during your extension period in order for them to count toward your extension program requirements
