What platforms do you recommend for online classes?

Below are three platforms we recommend for attending online classes. Please review the bullet points under each link carefully, as each platform has specific limits on which courses count toward your program requirements.

Coursera

  • Not all classes will be approved; always submit a class pre-approval form before enrolling.
  • Specializations and Professional Certificates are not accepted since they bundle multiple classes, and au pairs are limited to one online class per semester.
  • The hosting institution must be an accredited U.S. post-secondary school; courses offered by companies like Google, Meta, IBM, etc., will not be approved.
  • Classes may be free or paid—choose the paid option to receive a completion certificate, which is required as proof of course completion.

edX
