# Which questions on the 462 application confuse people?
## How to answer the ID card, other documents, visa grant number and authorized recipient questions.
Four questions come up again and again. Here's how most US applicants answer them. You can also click the small question mark icons in the application for the government's own help.
**National Identity Card:** US citizens usually don't have one. You'll give your passport information instead.
**Other identity documents:** You generally don't need to provide any.
**Visa grant number:** For most applicants the answer is "no."
**Authorized recipient:** Don't add InterExchange. We're a cultural exchange program provider, not a migration agent or legal advisor.
