What documents do I need for the 462 visa?
Passport, photo, proof of funds and education documents to upload.
Toward the end of the application, most people are asked to upload four things.
Travel document / passport: A clear photo or scan of your passport's information page is generally enough.
Passport photograph: It needs to be an official passport-style photo that meets the requirements described in the application. You can try taking it at home if you can meet them, or visit a local passport photo service. Pharmacies and shipping companies like CVS or FedEx often offer this.
Sufficient funds: Australia wants working holiday travelers to be able to support themselves. The requirement is AUD $5,000, which as of 2023 was about $3,700 (check the current conversion rate), plus enough for a departing flight if you're arriving on a one-way ticket. You can show a bank statement, a letter of support from a trusted family member, or other documentation showing you can access support funds.
Education qualifications: Most applicants upload a copy of their high school diploma or equivalent.
