# What date do I enter if my IEC profile doesn't show a Date Received?
## Where to find your UCI and which date to give us when your profile status hasn't updated.
Use the date on your "Welcome to the Pool" letter. That works when your profile status hasn't changed to "Date Received" yet.
**What normally happens.** Within a few hours of submitting your IEC profile, the status should change from "Date Submitted" to "Date Received," and you'll get a Welcome to the Pool letter by email. Then go back to your InterExchange application, enter your UCI number and the date received, and press submit so we can nominate you.
**If it hasn't updated.** When lots of people are entering the pool at once, the Government of Canada site can be slow to update. You don't need to wait. Enter your UCI with the date on your Welcome to the Pool letter. This won't hurt your application.
**Finding your UCI.** In your IRCC online account, click the application status link and open the "International Experience Canada profile status" page. Your UCI is in the "applicant information" section.
**If we ask for your Welcome to the Pool letter.** If you've already submitted your profile but we haven't seen your details come through, we may check in. Send us your Welcome to the Pool letter so we can confirm it.
