How do I prove a US permanent address?

You need a US mailing or permanent address, but you don't have to live there now.

Give a US mailing or permanent address. You don't have to be living there now.

If you're applying to IEC as a US citizen, you need a US mailing or permanent address to show your residency in the US. That's true even if you're temporarily or recently living in Canada. It can be a family home, a friend's place or another address.

When the application asks for your current and permanent address, give your permanent or US mailing address. Your current residence can be outside the US, but your permanent residence should be in the US.
